A fantasy-filled post with a black cat or kittens in the middle.
Sarah Szewczyk is the artist who creates these little pockets of magical reality and turns them into drawings. Some of them also appear to have been painted as painted, but not quite sure.
In many cultures, the black cat is associated with misfortune and a host of bad omens. I love them because they look like miniature leopards. In addition to her art, I love Szewczyk’s attitude towards these cute cats. Her social media page is filled with illustrations of her.
Szewczyk makes most of the scenes in some kind of potion. The label on the bottle and the pictures of the cats give a hint as to what the different glass containers, bottles, etc. contain.
