This is a uniquely surreal post and the following explanations are below…
Kevin Valentine is the notable artist who created the works on this page. Here is the explanation on his Instagram page: “I don’t know what to paint,” I said. – She said, “Then draw me a sheep.” – So I draw a sheep every day.
When I talk about an artist, I always try to include what drove them to create the art. It usually has something to do with upbringing, love for something/someone, or the need to talk about an issue that doesn’t get enough attention.
Valentine’s description is as unique as his art. A brief and direct conversation between two people. Conversation has produced 592 illustrations as well as 44,000 followers and counting.
The site includes pictures of different sheep using various media. The ones I chose, are the ones that stand out a bit more to me. Mostly famous people and movie personalities.
I’m so glad I found this page. It is art and artists like this that give the entire industry a great breath of fresh air. The process of displaying art in a way that is less rigorous, educational, and more inspiring.
Unlike 3D movies, you don’t need special glasses to see surreal graphics. Just an open mind to enjoy it.
