Siale Hawrambi considers herself an artist and pointillist.
There are no lines in these graphics. They are all achieved by applying tiny ink dots with a precision ink selector. The higher the concentration, the darker the area. Conversely, the fewer points, the lighter the area will be.
Hawrambi describes how it took her a year to complete all the marks. A search for the quality ascribed to each one had to be incorporated into the drawings, and a suitable image had to be found to express it.
I think it was worth the wait, given the great result we see on this page.
