Food art is looking for its finest, in oil paintings on plate and canvas.
Artist Julia Stankevich, based in Ukraine, specializes in realistic portraits.
At first glance, they appear to be sitting on a newspaper or sheets. When they are actually paintings and boards. I don’t know how I was able to transfer the printed material to these surfaces, but the result is very effective and striking.
