This page is filled with very strange and surreal animals.
I have put together a collection of drawings by Colombian artist Mateo Pizarro. They come from various collections of the artist’s work.
They all have an oddity, which makes them stand out from the ordinary animals. There are also some legends and mashups, to complete the collection.
The tiger is a good example. You won’t notice the extra eyes until you see the close-ups. Further you see bison. It looks normal enough, until you see the little face in the center of the animal’s forehead.
Beautiful weirdness awaits you after these words, so without further ado, I’ll let you have it.
