German immigrant doll, Wilhelmina
Wilhelmina came to America from Germany in 1900. She is blonde like many German dolls.
Her beautiful white woolen dress is decorated with a pale blue ribbon. I made her this country’s blue and white crochet hat. She wears high studded shoes, much like Mildred’s. They were starting to look a little worn, but she did well to make one pair of shoes last thirty-seven years, at that time.
