One day the child said, “I wish a fairy godmother would come and make us a coach for Cinderella out of that squash.”
“We can be our imaginary mother,” little Florence said as she made this wish come true. Soon before them stood a wonderful coach made of this pumpkin drawn by beautiful Peanut horses and a beautiful Peanut Princess rode in it.
The hairpin was the axle that held the board’s wheels in place.
The princess had to drive straight to Lady Hollyhock’s, where a gentleman would help her get out of the carriage.
