Spring Betty Alsterlund (10 years old)
In the spring when the plants and flowers
Start budding bright and fair.
There is nothing like a fragrant scent
Mild air fills.
children running to and fro,
laughing and screaming
Greeting the birds that are in the air
Flying everywhere.
The grass is green and the air is fresh
And everywhere you go
You spy a cricket on the grass,
This runs back and forth.
Also, it’s time for gardening.
With a shovel, shovel and fork,
Going out to the park everyone should go
And everyone must work.
