Carnary Bird said to his mother:
“Is that bird in the tree, brother?”
Mama Canary said, “Oh, no!
He’s just a cousin – savage, you know.”

“beautiful dick”
you have a lovely yellow pet,
The sweetest thing I’ve met
With shining eyes that are black like a jet
It’s a canary.
For me such happy songs will sing.
And when I bring a fresh seed every day,
He tweets his thanks, nice thing.
Is my canary.
He comes when I call Pretty Dick.
Although I have pets big and small,
The best I ever love
He is my canary.
