Paul Heston teaches as well as creates art. It hosts online classes and in-person workshops.
We’ve featured his work for years. Specifically his interior drawings. The interesting part is that it includes itself in the illustration. Wide angle view of the scene he is focusing on. If you were to put a camera in front of his eyes and take a picture, this is what you would see.
We are literally witnessing the same opinion that Heston took when he sat down and painted it. A great feeling when you think about it.
There are some exceptions to this style, in the form of the very nice cascading drawings of Heston’s Daughter and the Lisbon Cathedral. No time to waste, to get out of the graphics…
