Howling wind
by Winifred V. Jordan
I like to hear the old wind gust blow,
When I’m safe in bed, you know!
Everything inside and outside is spinning,
As if the most powerful and very brave!
I like when the old howl sings
seas, islands, ships and things,
and tales of foreign lands,
And pirate treasures in the depths of the sand!
But I like it more when the wind howls climbs
flying in the sky, where he is, sometimes,
It fills big clouds, full of snow,
and beat them round to and fro;
Then it snows
On every hill and street in the city.
And when I wake up, you shall see,
Gorgeous coasts were made for me!
