More about the ostrich:

Additional author:

Ostrich chickens breed birds

An ostrich in the sandy plain

I laid an egg one day.

But when she saw some hunters near her,

The ostrich ran away.

And so the egg was left alone,

But I didn’t seem to mind.

The sun above, the sand below,

She was soft, warm and gentle.

But then a duck came,

“Why! Here is my egg,” she said.

I wondered at the nest today

wherever he was , ”

Just then stepped up Joe Stork, who said,

“Why! There’s my egg I’m how strange

He must roll over from my nest

And go here! “

Then he shouted in a voice, “This egg is mine!

What’s all this talking about? “

The egg crack went, and with a smile,

An ostrich chick came out.
