A Snow White, Flip Book Doll…

Here is our example of a side book from my Snow White story collection.

On the left, “Snow White” is the first page. True, the evil stepmother is the second page.

Snow White’s text: “Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful girl, her lips red as blood, her skin white as snow, and her hair black as night. She was called Snow White.”

Wicked Page Text, Queen/Mothermother: One day her stepmother, an evil queen, asked her magic mirror, ‘Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the fairest one of all?’ The mirror answered, “Snow White.” The Queen was so jealous that she ordered her huntsman to kill Snow White in the woods. Snow White begged him not to kill her, so kindly let her go.”

On the left, the third page is one of the seven dwarfs who look after Snow White after chasing her
in the forest. On the right is the fourth page of an old woman who is the Evil Queen in disguise.

One of the texts of the Seven Dwarfs page: “She ran into the woods, where she saw a cabin. She was tired, so she went in and fell asleep in a little bed. Soon the dwarves who lived there came back, and kindly woke her. She told them all that had happened. He loved her and asked her to stay with them.”

The evil queen wears an “old peddler” text: Thinking that Snow White was dead, the Queen asked the mirror again, “Who is the fairest of all?” “Snow White,” said the mirror, “she was angry. Disguised as an old woman, she went to find Snow White. In the hut, she gave Snow White a poisoned apple. Snow White fell and remained the same.”

The last page is a handsome prince.

Handsome Prince text: “The dwarves came back and laid her on her bed weeping. A handsome prince, thinking her very beautiful, came to kiss her. The spell was broken, and Snow-white awoke. The prince took her to his castle where they were married, and they all lived happily ever after.”
